Subshield is a subscription management platform that helps you track and manage all your subscriptions in one place. Currently, we offer a free ChatGPT Go reminder service that sends email reminders before your subscription starts charging. The full Subshield product (browser extension and dashboard) is in development.

3. User Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for providing accurate information when using our services
  • You must ensure your email address is valid and accessible
  • You are responsible for managing and canceling your subscriptions yourself
  • We are not responsible if you fail to cancel your subscriptions despite receiving reminders

4. Third-Party Service Changes

Our service relies on third-party APIs and services, including but not limited to:

  • Email service providers
  • Cloud infrastructure services
  • Other service providers necessary for operation

We are not responsible for changes in third-party API pricing, service availability, or policy changes that may affect our service. If third-party services impact our ability to provide services, we reserve the right to:

  • Modify our service offerings
  • Discontinue certain features
  • Update our terms and conditions

We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes, but we are not obligated to provide advance notice for changes beyond our control.

5. Disclaimer Regarding OpenAI

Subshield is an independent reminder service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or associated with OpenAI or ChatGPT. We do not intend to harm, cause loss to, or negatively impact OpenAI or its services. Our service simply helps users manage their subscription renewals and make informed decisions about their ChatGPT Go subscriptions. Users remain responsible for their own subscription management and decisions.

6. Limitation of Liability

Subshield is provided "as is" without any warranties. We are not responsible for any charges incurred on your subscriptions. Our service is a reminder and tracking tool only, and you are solely responsible for managing your subscriptions.

7. Data Privacy

We collect and store your email address and subscription information solely for the purpose of sending reminders and managing your subscriptions. We only store subscription names and metadata. We never store payment information, card numbers, or sensitive financial data. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for more details.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
